Well, it was all quite dark in our house. Some neighbors still left their lights on. My little brothers and I were playing chess under a flashlight. There were still hints of noise and loudness in the near distance. But minutes after…
Everything was silent.
Whether the neighbors were sleeping, or they too observed EARTH HOUR, I would never really know.
Despite concentrating in my interesting game of chess, in the subconscious part of my mind, I was glad…
I was glad because I actively campaigned for and participated in Earth Hour. I was glad because I knew I convinced some to spare their lights for one single night, for one single hour, for only once in a year. I was glad because I became part of a good cause.
My little bro and I played chess for one Earth Hour. In that hour, I won the game and I won over fighting for something that is more than I am.
:)
Thanks for fighting with me, world!
I LOVE EARTH! Wooh-hooh!
